Profit and loss refers to the difference between the "worth then" and the "worth" at the time of the transaction.
When you select the coin-fiat or coin-coin mode to display the profits and losses, the display shows: the "worth" and "worth then" converted into the current mode to calculate profits and losses.
1. When 4000$ per BTC, 200$ per BCH, 1BTC=20BCH
You bought 20 BCH with 1BTC in BCH/BTC trading pair.
At this time, the market down
2. Then 2000$ per BTC, 100$ per BCH，1BTC=20BCH
The profits and losses of the transaction in coin-coin mode is calculated as follows:
Worth then=1BTC, Worth=1BTC, Profits and losses=0BTC
The profits and losses of the transaction in coin-fiat mode is calculated as follows:
Worth then=4000$, Worth=2000$, Profits and losses=-2000$
In the BCH position details page, you can select different trading pairs to view the K line and converted profits and losses data of the corresponding base coin.
When you choose to view the K line of BCH/ETH, the profit converted by the coin-coin model will also be calculated as ETH:
The unit price of BCH at time 1 is 2 ETH; at time 2 is 1 ETH;
The profits and losses of the transaction in coin-coin model is calculated as follows:
Worth then=40ETH, Worth=20ETH, Profits and losses=-20ETH
This means that you can see current profits and losses situation of each transaction with different base coins.
coin-fiat mode: The profits and losses situation of each transaction with fiat currency settlement that time.
coin-coin mode: The profits and losses situation of each transaction with base coin settlement that time.
Because in the conversion, "worth then" uses the price at which the transaction took place, so if you filled in a trading time different from the actual time when you choose manual input, the conversion of coin-coin profit and loss may be different from the actual situation.
When 3000 USDT per BTC, you enter the cost 6000 USDT to buy 1 BTC.
Since the total assets are displayed as the BTC standard in the coin-coin mode, the profit and loss will be displayed as -1 BTC. This is because the system determined that your 6000 USDT should be able to buy 2 BTC at that time.
